Once your car gets past 3 years old, you need to have an annual MOT. An MOT test ensures your vehicle meets the minimum safety level, as required by law. During the cars MOT a nominated tester, who is a person authorised by the government body called VOSA, will conduct an inspection and a series of checks. Each check will be recorded and if the vehicle passes, you will receive a pass certificate. If it fails you will receive a fail, and you will have to arrange for any necessary work to be completed before booking it in for a retest.

If your car fails its MOT, we will offer you a free retest within 7 days. We also have a waiting area, so bring your book and enjoy a coffee whilst you wait for us to finish your MOT.
